Double Black was designed by master blender Jim Beveridge as a darker, smokier image of the world, aging it in heavily charred casks and incorporating a higher proportion of characterful west coast and island whiskies to bring iconic flavors to a new level of intensity. Double black has already established itself as a classic, despite the fact that it is a new addition to the line. Inspired by our renowned whisky, it’s a full-bodied whisky with an intense smokey flavor and layers of spice. Whatever the occasion, it’s a fantastic pick that’s great for sharing. It’s influenced mainly by strong west coast and island whiskies.
